Like Rodger said, the Bugatti in the pics is a former race car. The chassis/motor combo is the first ever winner of the Monaco Grand Prix. The car originally had no top. Some Rich guy is Paris bought the car, and had a new body commissioned (her was getting blown, or something)..... If I remember correctly, the rebody effort took place in the 1930's!.... Anyways, being a race-car, the engine was kept cool because the car was constantly moving. They added the fan to keep it cool since they don't typically drive it at race speeds anymore. This car has a top speed of ~175 mph. Alex has taken it to 100 mph.

My first thought when I spied the fan was "Holy sh!t! they must actually drive that thing!" I can't imagine what it would be like to see cars from that collection actually out motoring around.
