Default *** SOLD *** Four Vintage Wheel Works V-40's 17x9.5" $775.00

These are the V-40's that we had on our 66 Chevelle for most of the season last year. We're selling the rims only since the tires are pretty worn. The fronts have 6.5" of backspacing and the rears have 6". The wheels are in very good shape, but do show some wear from use. The centers have been painted a dark gray. At full lock turns we would rub the inside of the rim on our 1 3/8" Hotchkis swaybar as seen in the pictures. The wheels also include the original (not shown and never used) center caps.

Here are some specifications on how we made them work on our early A-body:

* The rearend we used was out of a later (68-72) Chevelle so it was 1/2" wider than a 64-67 on each side.

* Our ATS spindles increased the track width by approximately 3/8" per side

* We ran the fronts with 1/8" spacers to clear our C-5 Vette calipers.

I still have the original VWW boxes and have no problem shipping the wheels, but the cost will be paid by the buyer.

If you have any questions please call or email.
