If you want EFI and a slightly more modern look, you can adapt an LT1 intake to the engine. I think the LT1 is a great looking motor/intake. The intake produces great torque too. Just a thought. I do agree that a hot rod should have a classic look to it though. Sure, an LSx works great but the intake, coils, and injectors etc kills it for me with the build style of a hot rod. An LSx with old school stacks brings you right back to a "proper" look even if EFI is retained though. So many choices and variables.
