No worse than asphalt? You're kidding, right? Asphalt and concrete have different properties than glass. The big problem IMHO is that until our road construction capabilities get far along enough that roads can be constructed reliably and consistently that don't end up with potholes, sinkholes, etc requiring constant maintenance, this is not even a pipe dream. Around these parts, that's a joke.

I applaud the interesting idea. However, I don't think it's even remotely practical. I'm also guessing that when considering the energy consumption of the manufacturing and construction process, it's effectively a loser.
