Sounds good, the only thing I would consider is the aluminum spindles they make for your car that have the bigger bearing and the corvette brakes bolt on without needing conversion brackets. They also have speed sensors built in. I didn't find them that pricey and the price is offset because you don't need the brackets and at least in my case (camaro) the brakes were cheaper. I may be wrong but they may allready make the car 1" lower. I'm sure there are others that can comment better on it that have chevelle experience.
