Late / shallow, though it is a late model spec that is actually about .080" to long to work on a typical shallow MC style like the classic '77-'82 Vette MC, so you will have to buzz the tip of this rod carefully (or buzz the dimple in the backside of the MC) otherwise it will dramatically preload the MC pistons upon assembly...
