Personally I would keep the car, that is if it's something you truely would like to build. All in all it's only 6-8 months off the build time and in the whole picture that's not much. Hell I just had my 4 year anniversary of doing metal work on my camaro...of course I hardly get to work on it though, and I hope you get your car done WAY faster...my point being, to build a car correctly from the ground up it takes lots of time, don't let a 6 month setback put the fire out on a dream! Perhaps you could have the motor built or something of that nature during this time?
