Default Murvilboy and his '72 Camaro

Hi my name is RJ and I found this forum through Google. Done some reading and figured I would join. My hometown is Maryville, TN (Murvil the way Tennesseeans like to pronounce it) but I live in Crestview, FL due to being stationed at Eglin AFB. I just acquired my dad's 1972 Camaro that has been in our family for years. The car has a 406 cu in. with TH350 tranny. The motor was blueprinted, balanced, bored and honed by a machine shop in Knoxville, TN back in 1994. The heads have been ported and polished and 3 angle valve job and a cam. I dont remember the specs of the cam but will review the paperwork once I find it. The car has been tuned on 108 octane but timing has been reduced to run pump gas. It has a Line Lock and transbrake on the car but not used due to the weak 10-bolt rearend with 3.73s. The car was built for footbrake class at local bracket racing but its slowly turning more and more into a street machine. My future plans for the car is to throw a staggered 18 inch set of wheels and tires without cutting it up and drop it about 2" with a cowl hood and front under spoiler. I will also give it a paint job but I havent decided my color scheme yet. Any pics or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will post more pics but this is the only one i have ATM.

i know the stickers need to go but as you can tell they are in the process of being removed but this is as she sits today.

Sorry for such a long intro but just excited to have the car and own a piece of American history.
