Talking TIG practice like this

Mario....

You know those body work tools called dollies.... I use one of those like it's an anvil. Beat the welded area until the metal is paper thin and stretched 'til it oil cans.... then slice the area with a cut off wheel and weld that up.... Do this numerous times per panel. The welding experience gained is well worth the replacement panel you'll need when you're done.
