Exactly -- get someone in the area to check stuff out. I just did this for SpeedTech.... on an item listed on Craigslist.... it worked out just fine. But buying ANYTHING on line anymore is a crap shoot... unless it's from someone you know. The more times you try your luck the odds are you're going to get hammered on a deal.
Sorry to hear this Lenie! That kind of stuff makes me so angry I understand the meaning of someone going "Postal".... the exception being - instead of randomly shooting people -- I want to hunt down the scumbags and string 'em up by their nads! Then torture them and then finally kill them slowly... the more agony the better! Think about the scene where they strap James Bond into the chair with no bottom and the guy swings a "monkey fist" (type of knot) on the end of a rope.... It makes my stomach turn watching that scene... but that's what should happen to these jerks. Jail is too good or them.
