Thanks... My wheels are 8" wide, but you can squeeze on 9" in the back. 8" is max for the front on 17". However, 18" you can have 9" in the front too I think.
Have a look at this 1970 Boss 302 It got custom backspacing, and it looks sick! It has 5.25 inch fackspace 18X9 in the front with 275/35/18s. The back is 6 inch backspace 18x10 with 295/35/18s. But I think that dude had to have Wilwood to custom make brake kits for him. He's over at www.boss302.com

I sooo regret on going for 17" when I bought wheels, so don't make the same mistake. Get 18"!
