well...

i have been working on the car slowly again. I had to go thru back surgery again (Feb 2011) my doc had me in his office to look at some films he had taken with the magnetic resonnance machine (term?) cause i was complaining from pain all the time and when he saw what my spine looked like he said (it was a Thursday) ; '' i have to get you under the knife monday morning first thing...I dont even get why you are still up, you should be in a wheelchair''. My spine was compressed over 75%.....Talk about recomforting someone!! ( i had all sorts of neurologic problems that i will spare you guy's lol!!

Anyway, that is somewhat behind me and i'm strating to get back in shape but i have to live with a continuous pain... Good thing is i did not sell the car ....yet. I keep doing it as i can but i have to be honest, it is soooooo frustrating.....

Anyway, feels good to complain once in awhile ( i really need to vent it out). but that is not why i come here, i just feel like i need to excuse myself for the loooong way to the top.

So, without any more crying, here is where i am now, i figure anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks and it should be out. Only needs windshield, exhaust, finishing to put the interior in and some small bits and pieces to be at least driveable;

did the dynamat and some dynaliner kinda stuff over the whjole interior

carpet is now all trimmed and installed

i did change my shifter

got my Strange chromoly shaft

new canvas top is on

bought the belts

i also got a tilt column, all the rubbers and felts, battery kit and wiring and so many parts i prefer to loose count!!! You know what i'm talking about right....

Anyway, i tought i would post where i am now. I'm looking at selling my wheels for some 18's (x9 and 13) sometime during the summer if everything goes as planned. I had the starter crank next to the car last week so its almost alive!!! Few things to finish before starting it up but i'm getting there.

Sorry for the long update but i have a long way to catch up!!! I am somewhat ahead of these pics but you get it, its really on the last miles. Just hope i dont get into another mishap or this might be the FOR SALE sign that will be the next posted picture!

Hope you guy's like it!

Lead.
