Thanks for the pics Eric! We had a nice lunch at Chases Bar and Grill there on State St.... wish you could have joined us! It's "old Santa Barbara Eye Talion" with photos of Frank Sinatra on the walls etc.

Okay --- So the truck took a dump leaving Sunday afternoon up Hwy 101 -- so I made a hasty decision to stop at Santa Maria where there was a Ford dealership. Monday AM they replaced some "module" for $1100 and I was back running and gunning. It is an '06 with 82,000 miles of towing on the clock. There is 1900 HOURS on the motor - do the math - that's an AVERAGE of 43 MPH for the entire 1900 hours. Eventually something has to break. It didn't leave me F O R D on the road but I had NO power... even on the flat it was wheezing. We stopped Monday night in Willows and then made our way to Portland (home of SAR) where I dropped the car last night.

To those that have posted about debugging.....

Trust me when I tell you this ain't my first goat rodeo. Debugging is normal and acceptable... but it is NOT normal and or acceptable when the problems are caused by just plain old stupid. I know the difference. The stuff I'm really hacked off about is not "oops".... It's AMATEUR HOUR.

They WILL fix it - and there is no issue that way. This is a good top notch shop and I've never doubted that it will be made to be PERFECT.

The car at the show (a real average bunch of cars in my opinion but a GREAT TOWN)... was built by The Roadster Shop.... and it deserved the Best of Show trophy... and it also kicked our butts in the roadster class. My hat is off to Phil et al.
