Here's how I installed my LS1 booster to the 68 without cutting the car.



Trunk mount Optima for better weight distribution.. and because Optima's are awesome.



I bought an HEI Dizzy because the stock one wouldn't fire for some reason, got it from Eastwood, and it fit perfectly.



Friend let me work in his shop... so I took advantage of it.



Due to some complications with an Oil leak and an awful looking engine, I yanked it out.



Sand blaster wasn't working, so I hand sanded it with a wire tooth brush (not fun, by the way).



So I built a fort in the shop and painted the motor...









Now I popped the front clip off to hide all my wiring like Bad Penny. That's about how she sat last night as I walked out.
