Well the car is finally finished. Got the center column adjusted for the driver so its less like a schoolbus, and had the interior gone through. New carpet, dash vinyl, rear seat, rear deck, new leather boots for the shifter and ebrake.
Car will be for sale after I check the clutch and chain for its new owners.
1/40 in the world.
Its number #36
Interior:
Matched french stiching
Also added another radiator to keep temps below 170 or so. Max temp for the R1 motor is 230 or so.
It'll be a shame to see her go. I have lots of time into this one, and not to mention money.
Will make classified add in the forums. I am asking 35k. I have all the paperwork on hours/labor, parts. This thing was NOT an easy car to build. But it draws crowds more than a live real elvis come back to life on hollywood. blvd. I have way more invested
Some vids driving around town:
It behaves well below 7k. Above you better have testicles of steel. It pulls harder than any small car I've ever been in. And the sound is just glorious.
