Well, here is the yearly update on Nickelback...
Been moving at a snails pace - but it is in forward progress. Although some of the pics look similar everything is pretty much final fitted and gapped. Since last update, I installed the hood hinges, overflow bottles, final fit the inner wheel wells, started making the inner wheels that mount within the fender to protect the top side of the fenders. These cars never had them originally but I thought it would be a good addition. I'm going to change out out the overflow caps with Marquez caps. I think they look a little more aggressive and not smooth and "street roddish". Collecting a ton of parts and getting ready to send it down south to Bakersfield so the boys at Ironworks can have their way with it. Plans right now are to have them fab a dash, mount the column, install the new rack & pinion, make some truck coils mounts, make a Big Stuff ECM mount, AC mounts. Getting closer. If all goes well, hopefully be in for paint by the end of the year. I still have to finish up the pass inside wheel well, runs all of the AC lines, make Radiator hoses, brakelines, fuel lines, E-Brake, etc. Until then - here are a few pics
Here is the Marquez Cap I plan on adapting to these overflows. Thoughts?
