I'm in the same boat and I don't want to speak for Chicane but think he is referring to where the upper shock mount is . ATS used to make an upper mount that looks better engineered anyway and could be welded in. OLC camaro has these. It'd be a little tricky making it work with the DSE control arm bracket but could be done I think.
Ultimately, I think most of us aren't going to be making many ride height adjustments and so long term probably isn't that big of a deal. The only trick it to use a special ball joint separater so you can undo it all pretty easily.Good luck.
