Yes Mario -- it has a PCV... and it's baffled. I've seen this scenario before and it acts exactly like a intake sealing issue. When these butterflies close - they're really closed - they have very tight tolerances so there's just no air coming in via the air valves -- thus leading me to think then that the vacuum created is pulling oily air in from the valley. There is no smoke on acceleration or at any other time.

I agree - if it's not the intake seal - that valve seals would be the next thing I'll look at. I have really high oil pressure - cruising on the freeway at 1800 rpms it's 75#'s -- so there's plenty of oil "up top". And running until the valve train was so dry that it clattered like a diesel could certainly have wiped them out.
