My car is just a "standard" '69....SBC, with aluminum heads, intake etc etc.....nothing to add alot of weight up front (i.e, no turbos, supercharger, intercooler, hydroboost etc etc).....
So with a full DSE front frame, I cant see why my car would need the BBC springs to sit at a reasonable ride height.
Right now, with 1.75 inches of thread up the shock, the car looks awesome up front....but I can only just get my fingers between the tire and wheelwell. On 18's its at 22.25 to the fender lip in front and 24 in the rear.
I think its got to go up another 1/2-3/4 inch to get decent clearence and not have the rake be overexagerrated
