I wanted to thank Phil, Jeremy, Neal and the crew at The Roadster Shop for helping us diagnose and get the Olds back on the road. Turns out the oil pump was way overkill for the engine, causing low pressures at operating temp. They found that it would make in excess of 150 psi cold. We went with a new pump and seems to be working fine. I drove the car home from their shop, 130 miles. Everything seems a ok. Looks like I'll get some time in the car after all.
