OK, looks like no love for the white '69 but I'm tellin' my story anyways.

What an F'd up day. Turns out, the guy with that pulled the M-21 from his '69 and sold to me was running an '86 or newer small block. When he threw in the flywheel I assumed it would work on a first gen block so I drove to the nearest machine shop to have it resurfaced. He told me to come back in an hour so I went by Oreilly's to pick up a clutch alignment tool.

Picked up the flywheel and when I got home, turns out '86 and newer blocks use a 2" flywheel hole diameter at the crankshaft. ****!! So I grab the original flywheel from my car and take it back to the machine shop. Mind you, this is 40 miles round trip. He has it done in twenty minutes and cuts me a deal for my troubles. I get home, throw the flywheel on, and then when it's time to throw the clutch on I find out Oreilly's gave me the wrong clutch alignment tool. ****!! So I run back there and the tell me the only Orielly's that has the right tool is up by where I got my flywheel resurfaced. ****!!

Well it took me all day and almost 175 miles of driving but I got the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate on.

And then to top it off, I go to start barbeque'n for dinner and I'm out of propane. 6 Bud Lights later and I'm feeling fine.
