He is fast for sure. I raced as a kid and didn't really have a desire to race now. I enjoy wrenching on his stuff a lot! I started riding with him to help him work on the fundamentals. (easier to show an 8 year old than explain it to him) He has been talking me into trying a race. The 40+ guys are still smoking fast, they are just not as young and dumb as the 250/450 'kids' that are a little more fearless than us older and wiser guys! In other words, they make clean passes and safer choices on the track!

Soooo you got talked into racing by an 8 year old.
Glad hear you're going to give it try. Me and a few buddies hit up the local track or free ride at lest every other week. Even Todd (Vegas69) joins us from time to time. Great way to spend a day with family and friends! Just remember to take the Advil with you.
