Nothing will help with wax, if you use wax on semi-gloss or flat it will start to shine up. I would use a mat clear coat over black base coat. Any paint company will work but I would stay away from the chepo stuff, go with a name brand as it will hold up better. I use Sikkens but PPG will work. When waxing either keep the wax away from that area or mask it off so you don't get the edges to start shining up. Some will say a rally black it's a single stage paint will work and it will give you the LOOK you want but not the UV protection and will not help with gas and other solivents they will go right through it.
