I can get the back tires but the front is only offered in 255/35 and 255/45. I can either run a 245/45/18 or jump up to a 275/40/18. Im trying to get a pro-touring look and I didn't want to go smaller than 255 up front. Is it a bad idea to run 275 up front and 305 in back? I didn't know if that would affect handling.
Assuming it's for your 69 Camaro, You won't fit much more than a 245 comfortably up front without an aftermarket subframe and out back, you'll need mini-tubs to go much beyond 275s. If you run a subframe and can fit 275s up front, more tire certainly won't hurt handling and will lend a great deal toward making the car handle neutrally instead of tending to push.
