Ned, I totally agree with you. Do your research. My confusion is why in this day and age people would just disregard a brand - before even doing any research. I didn't think brand loyalty - or hatred for that matter - still existed so much anymore. After all, most of what's in any of the new cars isn't manufactured (or often designed) by the brand that's on the car. I NEVER thought I'd own a Dodge truck but careful research thankfully made me reconsider. It's just interesting.
