I agree with you Steve, There are some people out there that have deep pockets, when it comes down to two egos in a battle for something they want they will both do foolish things to get it! I have a buddy in Buffalo that went to a auction in Ohio, went to bid on a 442 that he wanted really bad, ended up in a bidding war and he ended up paying 110k for it! One year later he sold the car for 35k. It was'nt worth more than that!!
