tonner - cool story. it is always fun to have rubbed elbows with some greats or maybe some paint as well

Just general talk but at 4 mins in or so they show their rear "axle" assembly. I have to admit I laugh when guys build all of these lat-G cars and put those super reinforced 9" rear ends in them that baja trucks use. SO much unsprung weight. Then look at how awesome the concept is in these cars (assuming you want to stay with a straight axle setup in the rear v. IRS). If they could be IRS I suspect they would do that, I haven't studied rules for them at all, but I assume they are forced to run a straight rearend and basically they have a very light-weight but super rigid rearend concept.

If I ever build a car with a straight rear axle I would do that design, and also build a little negative camber in as well
