Here is a link to our car weights section on our website it has several 1st Gens on it. The thing you will notice is that every car weighs a little bit different depending on what is or isn't in it. We also have a spring rate calculator in the same section of our website that might help you. The bad thing about guessing at the weights is that you will be guessing at your spring rate also. You really need to know the weight of the rear of the car and the unsprung weight (everything the coilover isn't holding up). We also have coilover setups for the front using our control arms. We drop the shock mounting point to get a longer stroke shock on it. Also our drop spindle will work just fine with a 17" wheel. If you need any help give us a shout.
