I was just looking for a rise out of you and everybody else.

My engine builder would agree. The whole 10lbs per thousand rpm is old news. That all started with Smokey Yunick way back when. I will say that your oil temp was only 205 and racing temps may net you less. I just switched to Red Line so I'm not sure how it's viscosity drops off from 205 to say 230-250 in oil temp. I know my Brad Penn partial synthetic dropped 10 psi from 210 oil temp to 230-250. I'm changing my oil cooler and oil for a reason. I'd take a look next time out to see if you should change to a 50 weight. I 'm running 15w-50. These race engine builder like to build them loose to cool the bearings. That baby is a high winding haas.
