Great car. Thanks for the photos on building the aluminum trim, a lot of build threads kind of leave out the middling details, going from initial cut to final finish in two photos. I dig the photos with welding beads on them as they give me insight into how the parts are actually mated and hope that even big aluminum beads can be effectively metal finished to perfection.
Its hard to tell but I think you painted all of teh aluminum ?
Otherwise how do you keep it from tarnishing ? does the owner have to brush/polish it once in a while ? I'm pretty sure it looks painted but just curious.
