The oil pan is really nice 4 pickups, a spot for a oil temp gauge I believe all stainless steel construction, pretty low pan for clearance. 6 stage dry sump pup. Your correct it sits underneath the main caps. Ive thought about duplicating the pan out of a lighter material such as aluminum, but the pan is almost too nice, so I may not
