He needs tires not tuning.117 should be 11.20 - 11.40.Get it to hook then add more power.27#s is on the edge for a stock block unless he has all the good stuff.
This car ran 10.30 @127 with stock block and heads.

(My buddy has an '87 with a 10 point roll cage with 27lbs of boost and on meth. Runs high 11's @ 117, but he's trying to get into the low 11's, high 10's. He says it needs some tuning and it should be about there.) |
