I think you sent me a copy of that diagram and I set the lower brackets to the 4.5deg angle specified at the bottom of the bracket. When I did that, I noticed that the leading edge of the lower brackets lined up perfectly with the center section mount surface on the 9" housing. I also realized that it was easier to align the leading edge of the lower bracket with the center section mount surface than it was to maintain the 4.5deg measurement while tack welding the brackets in place. On the 12 bolt, the rear cover surface would parallel. I can tell you that once I tacked all the brackets in place and mounted the rear end housing in the car I ended up with exactly 3deg up angle on the center section mount surface. I measured these angles several times to be certian they were correct before final welding.
