Honestly, we have not put one under an x-body yet. We know many of the F-body structures are similar to the x, but without trying it first hand, we couldn't say for certain.
The area of the frame you were asking about is 1/4 inch plate both tied directly to the shock mount and the frame and on the other side has an 'I-beam' profile. It's incredibly solid!
