You have to tell them if you want to have insurance. They ask what engine, specs, etc. Insurance companys are not dumb like they use to be. They know all about pro-touring, pro street cars.
They even have a handle on old cars using turbos, superchargers etc. They were selling insurance at the Detroit Autorama 2006 event.
