not a whole lot happened this last week. Today we cut the front of the tunnel out a little more. Also made a template for the new firewall. we will be bending up the sheetmetal tomorrow. depending on how far we get maybe tack the new firewall in. 
Got our new Turnkey Engine factory Power steering system on order this week. Should be here in about a week and a half.
Until then we will be finishing up the firewall and rasing the tunnel ever so slightly just to be sure we have enough driveshaft clearance. When the power steering assembly comes we will mount it up and then mocking up a cardboard radiator. |
Nice - I was hoping to see someone pick up the Turnkey Coyote PS setup! I'll be really interested to hear how it works out for you. I'm making plans to use one of these engines in a project I'm working on, and the PS pump issue hasn't been dealt with very well so far by the aftermarket (or Ford) IMO. Did you get their 'full' system with the KRC pump and their AC setup? I'd probably be more likely to attempt to duplicate theirs, but it's the kind of solution I've been looking for...
