I agree with you there, and did not plan to compete dollar for dollar, but was trying to get the price where is was not double anything else on the market and sticker shock a bunch of people out of buying one or spend countless hours explaining why mine is better than theirs. There needs to be more parts like this that are a more specific fitment, and not one size fits all.
