Hi! I actually got one of the very first (if not the very first) Cable-X back in the 94-95 timeframe and used it to drive the speedo in my 83 Z28 from a T56. The wires are power, ground, and the 3rd wire ties into the high side of the speed sensor on the T56 (purple and yellow wires). Unfortunately that was WAY too many years ago for me to remember which color is the correct wire. I mounted mine on the drivers side in front of the fender well and used the OE speedo cable, hooked into the speedo drive on the Cable-X. It works very well or it did for me.
