First off Ron, love the render/design and build it as it makes you happy! You'll have a killer car no matter what direction you go.
Second, as far as the single stripe and rear window to decklid area I had the same delima. I simply stopped short of that panel and called it a day. I'll see if I can find a pic. There really not much you can do there but I do like your thinking of replacing w a true carbon piece. Really, it's done all the time - Amir did it, and at SEMA this year I saw a 5th Gen w embedded carbon GS stripes on flat black fenders. Looked
