The internet has made it tough for a company to impress investors these days. It's not enough that a company posts a profit. It's not enough that a company beats the estimate. It seems like the only way to get people to prevent your stock from plummeting on call day is to beat the estimate by more than people expect!
If I ran a company it would drive me nuts. "Come on people, what more can you ask for?!"
