Default Upgrading to 17's on my '69 Z/28...need advice!

I have a '69 Z/28 and have gotten some great advice so far but I wanted to run it by you guys...the experts.

Here's my story:

Car sits pretty low.Currently running the following set-up:

Front:
15x7 (3 3/4" b/s)
235/60-15

Rear:
15x8.5 (unsure of the b/s)
265/50-15

American Racing 1-piece 200S wheels

I have been told by www.newstalgiawheels.com to run a 7" front (4 1/2" b/s) with a 235/45 and a 8" rear (4 3/4" b/s) and a 255/45 tire.I have been told a 245/45 on the front would look odd on a 7" wheel.

Another suggestion was a 8" front with a 5" b/s and a 245/45 and a 9.5" rear (5.5" b/s) and a 285/40 tire.

Since these are not returnable,I need to be sure of clearance issues...both inside and out.My car sits now where the edge of the fenders are just a hair on top of the wheels so the tires tuck in nicely now.

I plan on open-tracking this car and would really prefer to have the same size wheel front/back and just stagger the tires.

What do you guys think?Pictures?
If you wanted the least amount of fitment trouble on a lowered '69 Camaro, what would you guys suggest?

I am itching to order up a new set of AR 200's wheels and I need your advice.

Thanks in advance,

John
