Nice work there sir. Mine rubs in the 2 O'clock position facing the front of the engine. I'm running small block mounts. Looks like they need to manufacture these hoods somewhere between big block and small block mounts.
Seems to be pretty common. The position of my rub negates a torque strap as well. While a cold air intake system would fix my problem and be very functional, ain't going to happen.
