As long as you are running Macintosh amplifiers and Hertz speakers, don't compromise by running passive crossovers. Running the crossovers digitally inside the head unit or post processor and then providing an amplifier for each driver pair ie running fully active is the biggest step towards sound quality you can make after speaker selection and installation location/solidity.

It will provide a dramatic improvement in tonality and cleanliness, as well as allow you to properly tune the system.

I mean, if you're serious about sound quality and not just f'in around

(I will note that there are a few very high end car audiophiles who still believe passive x-overs can create the warmest sound, but they are like the guys who still pray to vinyl and have $10k needle cartridges, and their crossovers are as big as a monopoly board).
