Uhm, actually... Rockland Standard Gear is who builds the "Transzilla"... NOT RPM. (Your point of contact at Rockland Standard will be George Kreppin.)

If you are after a 'dog ring' gear box... both of the transmissions available from RSG and/or Keisler have that option. The gear sets from Keisler, in my opinion are much better than the welded faceplate design that the RSG Tranzilla utilizes.

However, if your after a standard synchro set up... they are both the same.

The real question is what your final gear ratio will/should be. The fact that any driven OD gear of 0.75 or more, will dictate a huge drop in efficiency. So I would think that a final ratio of around 2.50:1 would be choice.

The first gear final ratio is also important... and it is better to keep that as close to around 8.0:1 to about 10.0:1. So just keep that in mind when selecting the transmission ratios available.
