Any short block I've ever known didn't come with a cam. Ordered mine from Texas Speed and Performance...no cam. Here a 3 references of reputable places I'm sure many of us has heard of. All their shortblocks don't come with cams. Now, I'm pretty sure any builder will build you a shortblock and put a cam in it for you, but typically, as I know of...I repeat,
as I know of, shortblocks don't come with cams. Longblocks do, but then again, you get the heads, oil pan, etc.
