I cut out the original panel and trimmed the lip off the DSE panel. It has a folded lip around its perimeter to fit over the original firewall. It took me an easy day to cut out and install the DSE panel. Its easy work. I am thinking of going back and welding up the seam around the perimeter of the firewall now.
