Ron, I'm gonna go totally against the grain here. But, I vote flat lip if you ask me. I love the deeper look, and to me, that's what pro-toring exemplifies on wheels...the bigger deeper look with a fat rear tire. I know for you track guys, the step lip is for function, etc. But coming from me, a guy who has a zero desire to take my car to a track, function matters not to me. Now, a wheel has to function of course in general, meaning I will not put the bottom of the barrel on my car, but it will have to function the rigors of me hauling ass on the freeway. To me, there's nothing sweeter than a nice, fat 335/30/19 on a 69 with a fat lip. That's just me. Step lip wheels look so throwback to me when the largest diameter wheel we had was a 15" back in the 80's.
