That would be really enjoyable for someone with your abilities. Imagine how relaxing it would be to work on a car you really don't worry about chipping or scratching.

Money spent purely on functional performance goes farther compared to blending of performance and apperance required in PT.
Having enough space is one of the big challenges. Having a residence with a large enough lot to put up a 40x60ish shop would be very convenient.
