Both chips are right at the edge of the lip on the tire side so it's the actual body color. I had to trim the lip for fitment so that edge is bare metal at the moment. I'm pretty nervous about messing with the paint on this car at all so I just wanted to see if what that body shop told me was the right way to go.

because the chips are so small, I had planned to spray some of the self etching primer in a cup and brush it on because I don't want to risk ruining the surrounding paint. The guys at that shop had mentioned priming and putting seam sealer on the exposed edge of the lip that I just ground...does that sound right?
