Default TKO -Tunnel Clearance, 65 El Camino 4 Speed Car
I am hoping that someone here has specific experience with the installation of a TKO 600 in a 65 El Camino. I don't have a lot of extra time these days so looking to gain from other's experience. I suspect that there is tunnel clearance issues that I would need to address - if so I'd like to know up front. Car is a factory 4 speed and has the "hump" for the factory floor shifter. I have read that there will be interference, but haven't been able to find exact information on where/how much, and how to correct. If it matters, will be bolted to BBC with Quicktime Bellhousing.

Also, haven't been able to find an aftermarket crossmember for this combination, thinking I would need to fabricate one?
